Now before the issue gets away from us, let me provide a little bit of
background information about this listserve - our moderator, James will
provide
further details.

Dear Alumnae of the College of the Holy Spirit Tarlac:
CHS High School Batch 78 is organizing a general reunion of all U.S. based
resident alumnae of CHS - Tarlac targeted for Summer of 2007 in Los
Angeles.
While the event is targeted for local US residents, we will of course
welcome
alumnae guests from all over the world. The idea came about after our
batch
78 reunion in Las Vegas this November. It started off as "wouldn't it be
nice if...?". And now, here we go.
At the present time the goal is to gather contact information - Name,
Batch,
Address, etc. for the purpose of creation of this listserve which will be
the point of dissemination of news and developments related to the
reunion,
named: D Mamaw Convention (a take on our school's old name: Holy Ghost
Institute - tada! Ghost aka "Multu" or "Mamaw" in the vernacular. Among
ourselves
kasi, we have been calling Holy Spirit as "Holy Mamaw" for some time, so
why
not the reunion ale? The reunion name is the idea of another batchmate of
mine, Marni Ocampo - Manila Philippines.) At some point the tech savy
members
of the reunion committee will create a cyber form for completion by
members
and attendees. We welcome volunteers as batch contact points. But all of
these steps for much later, we do not want to overwhelm James at this
early
stage in the process!
Any assistance you can extend to this project and our drive to populate
this
listserve will be appreciated. Please forward all information to this
listserve and our intrepid moderator will take care of everything (James,
you
may
need a couple of co-moderators, let's discuss).
Please note, as we obtain new members on this listserve, some messages
will
have to be necessarily replicated to keep the others up to speed.
